This is not as easy as one may think, since the Windows setup is built to force every one who installs Windows to sign in with their Microsoft Account! NOTE! There is nothing wrong with signing in with a Microsoft account at all, the problem is that you are enforced to do this during the wrong part of the installation! The problem with Windows setup is that you are FORCED to create your own Microsoft connected user-account before any other account has been created. Thus they may easily circumvent the UAC and easily turn of your antivirus to silently install malware in your computer and much more!

TO UNDERSTAND FUNDAMENTAL COMPUTER SECURITY THERE ARE A FEW BASICS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!
The security model in Windows is actually more similar than different from the security models of operating systems like: Linux or Unix.
All uses the ability to set security on files and folder as a base for it’s security! Then you may attach USER-GROUPS that carry different USER-RIGHTS (PERMISSIONS).
This is why every operating system has Administrators groups/Users and regular user groups/users. And in every operating system there is NO SECURITY if the user has Administratrators rights! Security is only achieved by making users have regular user-accounts and using the UAC or SUDO to perform administrative things.

THIS IS THE BASICS OF FUNDAMENTAL COMPUTER SECURITY! NO MATTER WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM YOU USE!

Therefore it is very risky to install Windows by following the ordinary setup (the Microsoft-way)! Your security will be easily bypassed at any time!

THE BitsInPCs-INSTALLATION GUIDE helps you, without any scripts or added software, to begin by first creating a separate Administrators account. An administrators account that is a local user-account (not connected to any Microsoft or other online account).

Using this account you install all available Windows updates, any optional 3:d party antivirus software and all the programs that you will be using from the start. Then you create your own everyday user-account as a standard user-account.

As a standard user, malware are severely hindered by the lack of excessive rights (permissions) and thus they most often can not utilize vulnerabilities, bypass security functions etc. thus your computer will run as safely as possible!

BUT? IF I DO THIS I WILL NOT BE ADMINISTRATOR IN MY OWN COMPUTER, YOU MIGHT THINK!
YES! Of course you will be administrator on your computer, Anything else would be totally unthinkable!

The way BitsInPCs helps you to install your Windows-computer, you will automatically be using the UAC-prompt (or right-click and “run as administrator”) to run for instance an setup for a new software as if the administrator was running it!

UAC is the function that allows anyone who lacks administrative rights to run stuff that need administrative rights (like a software installation etc.) without exposing the PC to more risks! Just like SUDO does in Linux!

Thanks to the UAC (And “richgt-click and “run as administrator”) you almost NEVER need to sign in with the administrators account since you can easily install software, change system-settings etc. without leaving the safety and comfort of your regular user-account. It’s really this simple! You are Admin if you know what password to type into the UAC-prompt!

This way your computer will be much, much safer when malware and hackers simply will not get access to any administrative rights (unless you are fooled to accept a UAC-prompt) and this alone will safeguard your PC BETTER than any antivirus software will if you have installed your PC "the Microsoft way".

You should always use an antivirus as it will alert you of any malicious happenings. And If you have installed your PC the BitsInPCs-way your antivirus software will have a lot easier to handle any malware etc. since the malware no longer can easily deactivate your antivirus-protection.

This will also increase the stability of your PC, and makes your PC keep it's performance much, much longer. Vulnerabilities will no longer be easily exploitable as a the use of a non-administrators account mitigate at least 7 out of 10 attempts to exploit even critical vulnerabilities!
